How Often Discovery Runs

Discovery runs on a schedule, every day, without you triggering anything. Set up your sources once and warm leads keep arriving.

The first run

When you turn a source on, the first search starts within minutes. If matching authors or commenters are available, warm leads can appear on your Warm Leads page quickly; for a normal source test, allow 24-48 hours to judge the first results.

After that, daily

Each active source searches again about once every 24 hours. The timing can drift by up to an hour, so think of it as "roughly daily" rather than a fixed clock time. You do not need to do anything between runs.

Why daily and not instant

A relevant post or comment from yesterday is worth a message today. One from three weeks ago is dead air. Running daily keeps your leads fresh while spreading your credit spend evenly, instead of burning a whole budget the moment something is posted. You control the pace with the daily budget slider.

Who each run can surface

For keyword sources, each run follows the mode you chose:

  • Post authors finds people who wrote matching posts.
  • Post engagers finds people who commented on matching posts.

For creator and competitor sources, each run finds people who commented on posts from that LinkedIn profile. People who only liked or reacted are not included, because likes do not give enough context for a warm lead.

Where to see the timing

The Warm Leads page shows when discovery last searched and when the next run is due, so you always know where you are in the cycle.

Not seeing new leads? Check that the source is toggled on, that your daily budget is above 0, and that you have credits left. If all three are fine, wait for the next daily run.
