How It Works
From LinkedIn source to warm lead, step by step
Tell Signado who you sell to, add keywords, creators, competitors, and posts, review the leads that arrive every morning, then reach out with something real to say.
Tell Signado who you sell to
Your business, your ideal clients, what you offer. Paste your website URL and Signado fills in most of it. Two minutes. This profile, your ideal client profile (ICP), powers every fit score and every message you send.
What this step does
- Auto-fill from your website URL in seconds
- Edit any time from your business profile
- Powers every fit score and AI-written message

Add keywords, creators, competitors, and posts
Sources tell Signado where to look: keywords your buyers use, creators they follow, competitors they engage with, or a single post they piled into. There are five ways to find people. Each one is explained below, with examples.
What this step does
- Keywords for hiring, advice, vendor, or pain language
- Creator and competitor profiles your buyers already engage with
- A single post URL to grab its commenters and reactors
- Preview any source for 1 credit before it spends more
- Activate, pause, or swap sources any time

How Signado finds people, with examples
Every source you add uses one of these five mechanisms. Pick the one that matches how your buyers behave on LinkedIn.
People writing posts about the problem you solve
Add a keyword and choose Post authors. Signado finds the people writing LinkedIn posts that match it. When someone posts that they need help, they are announcing the need in public, in their own words. You just have to show up.
Posts this catches
- “We’re hiring a marketing agency. Recommendations?”
- “Looking for a web developer for a rebuild. Any leads?”
- “Our client reporting eats two days every month. How are you all handling this?”
Pick Post authors when the person writing the post is your buyer.

People raising their hand in the comments
The comments under a post hold as much need as the post itself. With the same keyword, Signado picks up the people commenting on matching posts. They asked a question, shared their own version of the problem, or tagged a colleague. They are already in the conversation.
You know the “Comment GUIDE and I’ll DM you the playbook” posts? Every one of them fills a comment section with people who just declared interest in that exact topic. Almost nobody treats those comments as a lead list. Signado does.
Comments this catches
- “Same problem here. How are you handling it?”
- “Following. We’re dealing with this right now.”
- The hundreds of “GUIDE” replies under a lead magnet post about your topic.
Pick Post engagers when the topic attracts your buyers, even if the person posting isn’t one.

People already engaging with your competitors
Paste a competitor’s LinkedIn profile. Signado shows you everyone commenting on their content. These people already care about what you sell. They just haven’t met you yet.
What this looks like
- A web design studio pastes the founder of a rival studio and finds the prospects asking questions under their case studies.
- An AI automation agency pastes a competing agency’s page and picks up everyone reacting to their client results.
Pick Competitor audiences when you can name who is already selling to your market.

The audience a creator spent years building
Paste the profile of a creator your buyers follow. Signado finds the people engaging with their posts, so you reach that audience without posting daily for two years yourself.
Creators run lead magnet posts all the time. Those comment threads are full of people asking for help with the exact topic you serve.
What this looks like
- Your buyers follow a creator who posts about agency growth. Their commenters are your market.
- A fractional CFO pastes the finance creator every founder in their niche reads.
Pick Creator audiences when your buyers all follow the same few people.

Grab everyone who engaged with one post
Sometimes the lead list is sitting under one URL. A competitor's launch announcement. A hot take in your niche that pulled 300 comments. A lead magnet post collecting “GUIDE” replies by the hour. Paste the post URL and Signado pulls everyone who engaged with it: commenters, reactors, or both.
Unlike the other four, this one runs once, on demand. You find the thread, you paste it, and the leads arrive scored and enriched like every other source.
Posts worth grabbing
- A competitor announces a price increase and the comments fill with unhappy customers.
- A creator's lead magnet post collects hundreds of replies from your exact buyers.
- An industry hot take where half the reactors match your ideal client.
Pick Post engagement when you already have the URL of a post your buyers piled into.

Post engagementWarm leads arrive daily
Discovery runs every day from each active source, within a daily credit budget you set. A post from yesterday is worth a message today. A post from three weeks ago is usually old news.
What this step does
- Daily runs, not weekly batches
- You set a daily credit budget, so discovery never spends more than you allow
- Post authors and post engagers land in the same feed
- Every lead arrives enriched with title, company, and profile data
- Every lead lands with a fit score from 0 to 100 and a one-sentence reason

Find the email, check the company
Ready to reach out? Signado finds the lead's work email and only charges when one is found. Qualify pulls the company's public data into a quick fit check. Deep Dive goes further: 7 company events across up to 12 months of history, from funding rounds and hiring activity to leadership changes, executive posts, product launches, partnerships, and company news.
What this step does
- Email finder is charged only when an email is found (5 credits)
- Qualify gives you a quick company fit check before you invest more
- Deep Dive covers 7 company event types, on demand, one click per account
- The AI uses that company context in the opener automatically

Review and send
Every AI-written opener lands in a spreadsheet view. Regenerate a line, tweak the tone, edit inline. When you're ready, send straight from Gmail or Google Workspace, push to Instantly or HeyReach, or webhook to Zapier, Make, or n8n. CSV export for everything else. No lock-in.
What this step does
- Spreadsheet review with one-click regenerate
- The AI references what the lead actually said, without parroting it back word for word
- Send via Gmail, Instantly, HeyReach, or your own SMTP
- Webhook to Zapier, Make, n8n, or any custom destination
- CSV export for everything else

Send from your inbox or push to your tools

You pay per lead found, not per scan attempt. Storing contacts and viewing your data are always free.

One personalized draft referencing what the lead actually posted or commented.
Pulls the company’s public data into a quick fit check before you invest more.
7 company event types across up to 12 months of history, on demand.

Common questions before getting started
Does Signado log into my LinkedIn account?
No. There is no LinkedIn login, no browser extension, and no automation running on your profile. Signado finds people through public posts and comments, and you send from your own inbox or your own tools. Nothing touches your account.
Do I need a contact list to start?
No. Signado finds people from live LinkedIn conversations, so you can start from zero. If you already have lists from Apollo, Clay, or CSV, import them too. Both work side by side.
What does a warm lead cost?
A new warm lead costs 3 credits. Finding an email costs 5 credits and is refunded when no email is found. A Deep Dive costs 40 credits. The Free plan includes 200 credits, so you can test the whole flow before paying anything.
Should I pick Post authors or Post engagers?
Post authors when the person writing the post is your buyer, like someone posting that they are hiring an agency. Post engagers when the topic attracts your buyers, like people commenting under posts about the problem you solve. You can run both from the same keyword.
Can I pull the people who engaged with one specific post?
Yes. Paste the post URL, choose commenters, reactors, or both, and Signado runs it once on demand. Each person arrives scored against what you offer, like any other lead. It works on any public post, including ones you did not write.
How fast will I see results?
The first scan starts within minutes of activating a source. If matching conversations exist, leads can land in that first run. From there, discovery runs every day and adds new leads as fresh engagement appears.
What if my first sources aren’t pulling great leads?
Swap them. You can pause, replace, or preview sources any time, and a preview costs 1 credit. Most people find their best sources in the first week of trying things.
