Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about Signado: how warm-lead discovery works, what it costs, and how it fits your stack.
Understanding Signado
What is Signado?
Signado finds warm leads in your market. Tell us your ICP and add keywords your buyers use, creators they follow, or competitors they engage with. Keywords can find post authors or post engagers. Creator and competitor sources find engagers. Each lead arrives ICP-scored with a one-sentence reason, ready for your next action. Deep Dive any account to add seven company events: funding, hiring, leadership changes, news, product launches, partnerships, and executive posts.
What does Signado look for?
Two layers. Discovery checks LinkedIn keywords, creator profiles, and competitor profiles. Keyword sources can find either post authors or post engagers. Deep Dive checks 7 company events on any account: hiring activity, funding rounds, company news, product launches, leadership changes, linkedin posts, and partnership announcements.
How does discovery work?
Tell Signado your ICP and add keywords your buyers use, creators they follow, or competitors they engage with. Discovery runs every day. You set a monthly credit budget on the slider in your settings, and Signado slices it into daily runs across active sources. New warm leads land in your feed each morning, ICP-scored with a one-sentence reason. You decide which to message and which to Deep Dive. Cost is 3 credits per warm lead, all-in (discovery, enrichment, and ICP scoring included).
How does Signado personalize messages?
Every opener references the real post, comment, or company event attached to the lead. If they wrote a post asking for recommendations, the message references that need. If they commented on a competitor post, the message references that comment. If you ran a Deep Dive and the account just announced a Series B, the message references the funding. Real context, in your tone of voice.
Getting Started
Do I need a contact list to start?
No. Signado finds warm leads from LinkedIn keywords, creators, and competitors, so you can start with zero contacts. If you already have lists from Apollo, Clay, LinkedIn, or CSV, you can import them too. Both flows work side by side.
How do I pick the right keywords, creators, or competitors?
Start with one topic your buyers actually discuss, one creator whose audience looks like your ICP, or one competitor profile already attracting the people you want. You can activate, pause, or swap sources any time from the Discovery settings page.
Do I need technical skills to set this up?
No. Paste your website to auto-fill your ICP, add a keyword, creator, or competitor source, and Signado handles the rest. Most users are set up in under five minutes.
How fast will I see results?
The first discovery run starts within minutes after you activate a keyword, creator, or competitor. If matching post authors or post engagers are available, warm leads can land in your feed in that first run. From there, active sources run daily. Deep Dive is on-demand: click and Signado checks the account immediately.
What if my sources don't match many people?
Try a broader keyword, a more active creator, or a competitor profile with better comment volume. Discovery keeps running on whatever sources are active. Most users find their best-performing sources in the first week.
What if I only need a handful of leads to test?
The Free plan covers it. 200 lifetime credits is enough to test discovery on one source, get real warm leads in your feed, and try the AI message writing before committing to a paid plan.
Pricing & Plans
Is there a free plan?
Yes. No credit card required. The Free plan includes 200 lifetime credits, enough to test warm-lead discovery and generate AI messages. All paid plans are month-to-month with credits that reset each billing cycle. Cancel anytime.
What's included in the Free plan?
The Free plan includes 200 lifetime credits. Use them for warm-lead discovery, email finder lookups, AI messages, or enrichment. Store up to 200 contacts. Free credits never reset or replenish. Ideal for testing the product before committing.
Do free credits reset every month?
No. Free plan credits are lifetime and never replenish. Paid plan credits reset each billing cycle. If there is no activity for 30 days on the Free plan, discovery automatically pauses. You can resume anytime by logging in or upgrading.
What does Signado cost?
Starter at $59/month, Growth at $99/month, and Scale at $349/month. Flat monthly rate, no per-user fees. Your whole team uses one workspace.
How does billing work?
All plans are billed monthly. You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel anytime from your account settings. Credits replenish each billing cycle.
What happens when I run out of credits?
Discovery pauses automatically. No surprise charges, ever. Your data stays safe and warm leads already in your feed remain visible. You can upgrade your plan, purchase a credit pack top-up to resume immediately, or wait until your next billing cycle when credits replenish. Purchased credits never expire and are preserved even if you cancel.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. No contracts, no cancellation fees. Cancel from your account settings. Access continues until the end of your billing period.
Do you offer refunds?
Yes. All paid plans include a 14-day money-back guarantee. Contact support within 14 days of purchase for a full refund.
How Signado Compares
How is Signado different from Apollo or ZoomInfo?
Apollo and ZoomInfo are contact databases. They tell you who exists. Signado finds warm leads directly: people writing or commenting on LinkedIn posts from the keywords, creators, or competitors your buyers care about. You can bring lists in from Apollo, ZoomInfo, Clay, or CSV. They sit alongside discovery, not in place of it.
Why use Signado instead of doing this manually?
You could check LinkedIn every day for relevant keywords, find posts where someone is asking for help, check which creators and competitors got useful comments, qualify each profile against your ICP, and write the opener from scratch. Signado runs discovery daily, scores the ICP fit, and helps draft the message. You spend the time reviewing warm leads, not rebuilding the research loop.
Does Signado replace Apollo?
No, they do different things. Apollo is a contact database. Signado finds warm leads from LinkedIn keywords, creators, and competitors. Many teams use Signado as their primary warm-lead source and keep Apollo for sourcing additional contacts on accounts that look promising.
Does Signado replace Clay?
No. Clay is a data enrichment and workflow platform. Signado finds warm leads and enriches them as part of the discovery flow. If you already use Clay for deep enrichment workflows, Signado fits alongside as the warm-lead source.
How is Signado different from Apollo's intent feature?
Apollo's intent feature tracks anonymous website visitor behavior. Signado finds named LinkedIn leads: people writing posts about needs you can solve or commenting on posts from creators, competitors, and keywords your buyers care about. Browsing curiosity from an unknown visitor versus a named person with real LinkedIn context.
Can't I build this in Clay instead of using Signado?
Clay is configurable. You can build similar workflows in it. But each piece needs its own setup: LinkedIn data collection, ICP scoring, company-event enrichment, AI messaging, and ongoing maintenance. Signado is purpose-built for warm-lead discovery, with the 7 Deep Dive company events included out of the box.
Working with Your Stack
How do I bring my Apollo or Clay contacts in?
Export your list as CSV and upload it to Signado. Existing contacts are deduped automatically. Custom fields from Clay enrichment are preserved and available for AI message personalization.
What tools can I send Signado messages through?
Send directly from Gmail or Google Workspace using your own account. Connect any SMTP server. Push to Instantly or HeyReach through their public APIs. Fire a webhook to Zapier, Make, n8n, or any custom workflow. Or export as CSV.
Is Signado for non-technical users?
Yes. Signado requires no coding, no API configuration, and no workflow building. Paste your website to set up your ICP, add a keyword, creator, or competitor source, and discovery starts automatically.
How does Deep Dive work?
Click Deep Dive on any account in your warm-leads feed. Signado checks the company for 7 company events across up to 12 months of history: hiring activity, funding rounds, company news, product launches, leadership changes, linkedin posts, and partnership announcements. The AI uses that context in the opener to write a sharper message. Costs 40 credits per Deep Dive.
How does the email finder work?
Click Find Email on any lead in your warm-leads feed. Signado looks up the email address and writes it back to the lead. Costs 5 credits per lookup. You only pay for emails actually found, so unsuccessful lookups are refunded.
