Find Companies Hiring for the Work You Do

A Hiring source finds companies posting LinkedIn jobs for a role you choose. A company hiring an SEO Manager needs SEO done. If you run an SEO agency, you can offer to do that work while they hire, or instead of the hire.

Hiring leads appear on the Hiring tab of Warm Leads, next to Conversations.

Add a Hiring source

  1. In Sources, add a source and choose Hiring.
  2. Enter a Job title, for example SEO Manager.
  3. Optional: add up to two Other names for this role, for example Head of SEO. For a different role, add another Hiring source.
  4. Pick a Country, or keep Anywhere to search job posts worldwide.
  5. Choose Once, Daily, or Custom. When you start it, pick Scan last 7 days now or Scan last 24 hours now. After that, the source follows its schedule.

Want to check a role first? A preview costs 1 credit and shows five recent matching job posts.

During onboarding, Signado suggests three job titles based on your website.

Start with the role your service covers. If you run paid ads for clients, try Paid Media Manager, with PPC Specialist as another name for the same role.

What each Hiring lead shows

Each row is one job post:

  • The company, with a score from 0 to 100 and a one-line reason. Strong fit is 70 and up, Worth a look is 45 to 69, and Low fit is below 45.
  • The Job title, when it was posted or reposted, and how many people applied
  • The person to contact, usually the Job poster. Signado says when the poster is an in-house or outside recruiter.
  • A link to the job post

When no name came with the job post, or the poster is a recruiter, select Find the right person to search LinkedIn for the right title at that company. Then use Add person to attach them to the lead. Adding a person is free.

Choose which jobs count

Two boxes in Settings, under Business Profile, shape your Hiring leads:

  • Hiring filter instructions skip jobs before you're charged, for example "Skip staffing firms" or "Skip internships". A skipped job shows the rule it matched and costs 0 credits.
  • Hiring scoring instructions move scores up or down, for example "Prefer companies under 200 people".

Recruiters posting for a client are kept unless your filter skips them. Your country exclusions also apply, based on the job's location.

Write to them

Select Write message on a Hiring lead. The default Hiring LinkedIn DM template mentions the role and a detail from the job post, and fits who you're writing to: someone at the company or an outside recruiter. A draft costs 3 credits.

What it costs

  • Each Hiring lead costs 5 credits, the same as a new lead from any other source.
  • Each scan has a 1-credit fee. It's refunded when the scan finds a lead, or if the scan fails. A scan that finds nothing new keeps the fee.
  • A run charges at most 50 leads. When your credits can't cover every match, the best fits are charged first.
  • Hiring sources share your daily budget with your other sources.
