Pause and Resume Discovery

You can stop discovery whenever you want and start it again later. Pausing never deletes the leads you have already found. It only stops new ones from arriving.

Two ways to pause

Pause one source. Toggle the source off on the Settings then Discovery page. That keyword, creator, or competitor stops being scanned. Any searches still queued for it are cancelled, and no more credits are spent on it. Your other active sources keep running.

Pause everything. Set the daily budget slider to 0. This stops discovery across the whole workspace, no matter how many sources are active. Signado asks you to confirm first.

What is kept when you pause

  • Every warm lead already on your Warm Leads page stays exactly where it is.
  • Source previews and history are kept.
  • Only future discovery is paused.

Turn it back on

Re-enable a source. Flip its toggle back to Active. The first search starts within minutes. If matching authors or commenters are available, new leads can appear quickly; for a normal source test, allow 24-48 hours to judge the first results.

Raise the budget. Move the slider back above 0. Discovery resumes on its next cycle. This can take up to about an hour to pick back up, because it waits for the next scheduled run rather than firing instantly.

If you toggle a source off and straight back on, any search that was already running may still finish and add a few leads. That is expected. Those leads were already paid for, so Signado lets them complete rather than throwing the work away.

Pause vs delete

Pausing keeps the source and its slot, ready to resume. Deleting a source stops it permanently and frees the slot for a new one. Either way, the leads that source already found stay in your workspace.
