Understanding Intent Levels
Intent levels help you prioritize which companies to reach out to first. Each company in your Signals feed has an intent level based on the signals detected.
Three Intent Levels
High Intent
Companies showing strong buying signals. These have either high-scoring signals or a combination of budget indicators (funding, hiring) and growth signals. Reach out soon—timing matters.
Medium Intent
Companies with moderate activity. They're showing interest through growth signals or pain points, but may not be ready to buy immediately. Good candidates for nurturing.
Monitoring
Companies with early or weak signals. The activity isn't strong enough to suggest immediate buying intent, but worth watching. New signals can change this quickly.
How Intent is Calculated
Signado looks at multiple factors:
- Signal scores — Higher scores push toward High intent
- Budget indicators — Funding and hiring suggest available budget
- Growth signals — Expansion activity shows momentum
- Pain points — Problems they're trying to solve
A company with a funding round AND hiring signals will likely show High intent, even if individual signal scores are moderate.
Using Intent to Prioritize
Focus your time where it matters most:
- High intent first — These companies are most likely ready to buy
- Medium intent next — Nurture with relevant content
- Monitoring last — Check back when new signals appear
Intent levels update automatically as new signals are detected. A Monitoring company can become High intent overnight with the right signal.
