Monitoring Won't Activate
If you can't activate monitoring on a list, one of these issues is likely the cause.
Activation limit reached
Problem: You've used all your activation credits for this billing cycle.
Solution: Wait for the next billing cycle when credits reset, or upgrade to a higher plan. Free tier has a lifetime limit that doesn't reset.
Check: Go to Settings → Billing to see your activation usage.
Company limit exceeded
Problem: Your list has more companies than the monitoring slot allows.
Solution: Either reduce the list size (remove contacts) or upgrade to a plan with higher company limits.
How it works: Signado counts unique companies in your list. If you have 50 contacts across 30 companies, you need a slot that supports at least 30 companies.
Slot already occupied
Problem: Another list is already in the Priority or Watchlist slot you're trying to use.
Solution: Deactivate the current list first, then activate the new one. Note that switching lists uses an activation credit.
To deactivate: Open the active list → click the monitoring badge → select Pause Monitoring.
Free tier limit
Problem: Free tier has a one-time activation limit. Once used, you can't activate again without upgrading.
Solution: Upgrade to a paid plan to get monthly activation credits.
Check Settings → Billing to see all your limits and current usage. This shows exactly what's blocking activation.
