Payment Failed
If your payment fails, you'll see an orange banner at the top of the app warning that your subscription is at risk.
What Happens
When a payment fails:
- Initial failure — Stripe notifies you and retries automatically
- Retry period — Stripe attempts payment again over the next few days
- Grace period — You keep full access while retries happen
- Downgrade — If all retries fail, your account becomes read-only
How to Fix
- Click Fix Billing on the orange banner
- The Stripe Portal opens
- Update your payment method
- Payment processes automatically
You can also go to Settings → Billing and click Manage Billing to access the portal.
If Already Downgraded
If your account has already been downgraded to read-only:
- Data preserved — All your contacts, lists, and signals are still there
- View only — You can see your data but can't monitor, scrape, or generate messages
- Resubscribe — Go to Settings → Billing and choose a plan to restore access
Once you resubscribe, your full account access is restored immediately.
Fix payment issues promptly to avoid interruption. Downgraded accounts cannot monitor signals or generate campaigns.
