Scraping or Signals Not Working
If scraping or signal monitoring suddenly stops working, it may be due to changes on external platforms.
Why This Happens
Signado monitors external sources like LinkedIn, Crunchbase, Google News, and other platforms to detect buying signals. These platforms occasionally update their websites, which can temporarily break our monitoring techniques.
When this happens:
- Scraping may fail for LinkedIn posts, comments, or Google Maps
- Signals may stop appearing even for active contacts
- Data enrichment may be incomplete
This is a normal part of web monitoring. We actively track these changes and update our systems as quickly as possible.
What You Can Do
Wait a few hours
Most issues resolve within hours as we deploy fixes. Our team monitors for breakages continuously.
Report the issue
If the problem persists for more than 24 hours, let us know:
- In-app bug reporter — Click "Report a Bug" in the app menu. This sends your report with helpful context about your session.
- Email us — Contact us at hello@signado.io with details about what stopped working.
What to Include in Your Report
- Which feature stopped working (scraping, signals, specific signal type)
- When you first noticed the issue
- Screenshots of any error messages
- The contacts or lists affected (if known)
We prioritize fixing monitoring issues quickly. Most platform changes are resolved within 24-48 hours.
