Create Your First List


A list is a collection of contacts you want to monitor for buying signals. Let's create your first one by uploading a CSV.

Prepare your CSV

Your CSV needs at least one column—typically email addresses. Additional columns help the AI write better outreach:

  • Email — Required for contact identification
  • First Name / Last Name — For personalization
  • Company Name — For company-level signal grouping
  • Job Title — For seniority-based targeting
  • LinkedIn Profile URL — Enables richer signal detection

Include LinkedIn Profile URLs when possible. They enable deeper signal monitoring like executive activity and job changes.

Upload your CSV

  1. Go to Lists in the sidebar.
  2. Click Add ListUpload CSV.
  3. Enter a descriptive list name (e.g., "Q1 CEO Prospects").
  4. Drag and drop your CSV file or click to browse.
  5. Click Continue to Column Mapping.

Map your columns

Signado auto-detects common column names. Review the mapping and adjust if needed:

  • Match each CSV column to the corresponding contact field
  • Unmapped columns are ignored (you can skip optional fields)
  • Click Upload CSV when done

Your contacts are now imported and ready for monitoring.
