Select Signals for Your Campaign
Step 1 of the Campaign Wizard is about choosing context. You decide which leads to include and which signal the AI should reference for each one.
The Lead Table
Each row shows a lead from the companies in your campaign:
- Lead name and job title
- Company they work at
- Available signals — Dropdown of detected signals
- Score — Signal relevance score
Use the checkboxes to select which leads to include.
Choosing Signals
For each lead, you'll see signals grouped by type (Funding, Hiring, News, etc.). Signals are sorted by score—the most relevant ones appear first.
Click the signal dropdown to see all options. Pick the one that gives the best context for your outreach. A funding announcement might work better than a job posting depending on your message.
Why Signal Choice Matters
The signal you select becomes the context for AI generation. If you pick a Series B funding round, the AI will reference that investment in the icebreaker. If you pick a VP hire, the AI will mention that leadership change.
Better context leads to better personalization. Choose signals that:
- Are recent and relevant
- Align with your value proposition
- Give the AI something specific to reference
Higher-scoring signals typically provide better context. When in doubt, go with the top-scored option.
