Running Out of Credits
When your credit balance reaches zero, monitoring pauses. Your data stays safe, and there are no surprise charges.
What happens at zero credits
- Monitoring stops. Daily and weekly checks pause until credits are available.
- Signals stay visible. Everything already detected remains on your Signals page.
- Contacts are safe. No data is deleted. Your lists, contacts, and history stay intact.
- No overage charges. Signado never bills beyond your plan.
Warning indicators
The credit balance badge in the sidebar changes color as your balance drops:
- Green — Plenty of credits remaining
- Amber — Running low, consider adjusting your monitoring
- Red — Credits exhausted, monitoring paused
How to resume
Upgrade your plan. Higher tiers come with more monthly credits. Your new allocation is available immediately after upgrade.
Wait for your billing cycle. Paid plans reset credits on the billing date. Monitoring resumes automatically when credits replenish.
Reduce your credit burn
If you're burning through credits too fast, you have a few options:
- Move contacts to weekly monitoring. Weekly costs the same per check but runs once a week instead of daily — roughly 7x cheaper per month.
- Move low-priority contacts to stored. Stored contacts cost nothing. You can reactivate them later without paying enrichment again.
- Trim your monitored contacts. Focus daily monitoring on your hottest prospects only.
Go to Settings → Usage to see which actions are using the most credits and where to cut back.
