How Credits Work
Credits are the single currency for everything in Signado. Every action that requires computation, from discovering leads to AI messages, draws from one credit balance.
What costs credits

A Deep Dive is an on-demand, one-time scan of a lead's company across seven signals (funding, hiring, leadership change, executive posts, product launches, partnerships, news). It is not an ongoing charge. Signado shows the exact credit cost before you confirm.

- Viewing warm leads, signals, and history
- On a grandfathered Free workspace, re-surfacing a contact you've already seen
How your balance works
Paid tiers: Credits reset on your billing date each month. Unused credits do not roll over.
Paid-plan trials: You receive the chosen plan's full monthly allocation once at trial start. It carries through conversion without a reset. Your next allocation arrives at the next regular monthly renewal.
Grandfathered Free workspaces: Existing accounts keep their one-time allocation and Free behavior. The Free plan is not available to new accounts.
When your balance hits zero, discovery pauses automatically. No surprise charges, no overage fees.
Check your balance
Your current credit balance is visible in the sidebar. For a full breakdown of where credits went, go to Settings → Usage.
The Usage page shows your transaction history so you can see exactly which actions consumed credits and when.
