How Credits Work
Credits are the single currency for everything in Signado. Every action that requires computation — monitoring, enrichment, AI messages — draws from one credit balance.
What costs credits
| Action | Credit cost |
|---|---|
| Daily monitoring | 10 per contact per day |
| Weekly monitoring | 10 per contact per week |
| AI-generated message | 7 per message |
| Initial enrichment (new contact setup) | 40 per contact |
| LinkedIn / Google Maps scrape | 1 per result |
| Email validation | 1 per address |
Initial enrichment is a one-time cost when a contact first enters monitoring. Signado scrapes their company data, LinkedIn activity, and job postings to build a baseline. After that, only the recurring monitoring cost applies.
What's free
- Storing contacts in lists
- Viewing signals and signal history
- Re-activating a previously monitored contact (no second enrichment charge)
- Moving contacts between daily, weekly, and stored
How your balance works
Paid tiers: Credits reset on your billing date each month. Unused credits do not roll over.
Free tier: You get a one-time credit allocation. These never replenish — once spent, they're gone until you upgrade.
When your balance hits zero, monitoring pauses automatically. No surprise charges, no overage fees.
Check your balance
Your current credit balance is visible in the sidebar. For a full breakdown of where credits went, go to Settings → Usage.
The Usage page shows your transaction history so you can see exactly which actions consumed credits and when.
