Verified Series A or B Funding Round ($10M - $50M).
Budget is unlocked, but investor pressure to deploy capital efficiently has spiked.
The company shifts from 'Product-Market Fit' mode to 'Scale' mode. Operational processes that worked for 10 people will break at 50.
The CEO is aware of the looming operational debt but hasn't hired the middle-management layer to fix it yet. They are looking for immediate infrastructure solutions.
Funding rounds are a double-edged sword for founders. For 24 hours, they are celebrating. For the next 24 months, they are under immense pressure to deploy that capital efficiently.
Most salespeople send generic "Congrats, buy my stuff" emails. They get ignored because they focus on the money, not the pressure.
This playbook uses Signado to identify the funding moment and AI to write a message that says: "I know this money creates new problems. I can solve one of them."
Isolate the Funding Signal
First, we need to separate the noise (Hiring, News) from the high-intent event (Funding).
In the Signals Feed, use the filters to view only companies with recent funding activity. While you can browse all activity, for this campaign we want to be hyper-specific.
Signado Filters
Pro Tip: Look for rounds labeled "Series A" or "Series B". Seed rounds often don't have the budget yet, and Series D+ rounds have too many gatekeepers. Series A/B is the "Goldilocks Zone" where the CEO is still the buyer, but now they have a budget.
Once filtered, select the companies and click "Draft Campaign".
The Contextual Prompt Strategy
This is where Signado's AI engine shines. We don't want a generic "Congrats." We want to show we did our homework.
We will create two variables:
- icebreaker: A specific reference to the round amount and lead investor.
- pain_hook: A bridge connecting the money to your solution.
In the Campaign Wizard (Step 2), use this configuration:
The AI sees the full funding announcement, including investor names.
Inject your specific value prop here.
Why this works: The prompt creates branching logic. You don't need to manually sort companies by size; the AI reads the signal text and adjusts the hook for you.
The Review & Export
Navigate to Step 3 (Review). You will see a grid of generated messages.
Scan the icebreaker column. You are looking for:
- Accuracy: Did it grab the right investor name?
- Tone: Does it sound like a human wrote it?
If you see a generic output (e.g., "Congrats on the funding"), click the cell and edit it manually to add a personal touch. The best outreach is 90% AI, 10% Human.
Once verified, click "Export CSV".
